Sample Persona ScreenWelcome to Day 5 of our Twitter Series: Content Marketing Glossary. Today is the last day we will be dealing with Buyer Personas on their own (they will play a part in future series). To sign-off on the topic, below is a list of resources for further research:

1. The Buyer Persona Institute: Yes, there’s an institute dedicated entirely to Buyer Personas. This is led by Adele Revella, who also blogs regularly on the topic.

2. Tony Zambito: Tony is also someone who has been working on Buyer Personas a long time and provides consulting on the topic to major brands.

3. i-Scoop: i-Scoop is an consulting firm in Europe that provides advanced consulting on content strategy and using persona to provide focus for an integrated customer centric marketing strategy.

4. Hubspot: Hubspot is well-known for using personas with their internal content team and the results speak for themselves.

5. Oracle / Eloqua Blog Category Targeting and Segmentation: Eloqua also shares a stream of information on their blog related to personas, and targeting and segmentation in general.

6. Cooper Journal: Before there were Buyer Personas, there were personas in design and Alan Cooper and Cooper Design are pioneers.

7. Carl Jung: Before personas in design there were archetypes in psychology. Reading up on Carl Jung will give you more insight on the grouping and stereotyping of people (although archetypes can me more than just people).

8. Representation and Embodiments: And before there were archetypes there was the idea of Representations and Embodiments in philosophy.

That’s it for the topic of Buyer Personas. Next week we will be covering the Buyer Cycle.
